Description: Swinger Package, Power Steering, Front Disk Brakes, 8 1/4 rear end with 355 gears, Old-School Centerline Wheels, New Tires, fresh alignment, new dual exhaust w/chrome tips, original interior (almost perfect), original black vinyl top (near perfect), original weatherstripping (excellent condition), OEM Mopar hood scoops added with proper hood cutouts, both bumpers, bumperettes and all chrome work intact and excellent, Rim Blow Steering Wheel. All brake systems (master, discs, drums and hardware) were rebuilt and operate flawlessly, the rear end seals were also replaced.

360 cubic inch small block bored .30 over, mild RV Cam, fresh push rods and hydraulic lifters. The heads were upgraded to “J” heads with the larger 2.02 exhaust valves. MSD Ignition, Locar linkage, Dougs full Headers, Edelbrock 750 4 barrel carberator, proper breather connections off carb and valve covers (which are polished aluminum Mopar Performance). Alternator was upgraded to 100 amp, Mopar air cleaner, rebuilt 727 3 speed automatic transmission shifts firm and strong. 40 series flowmasters growl and rumble… she’s a real head turner!

The car was painted and the 360 and 727 were built and installed in the Summer of 2010 (the same year we bought her). The car has very obviously been taken care of, as is evident by the original vinyl top, the original interior and the original weatherstripping. She has a few things that need to be finished on her, troubleshooting why the horn doesn’t work and fixing the instrument cluster come to mind. Sometimes she wont start in “park” and I have to shift into neutral to start her… obviously the natural safety switch. I also think the 750 carburetor is too much for her and should either be re-jetted or changed out for something smaller. But she runs like a bat out of hell and has been very reliable for the relatively low miles we have put on her since the restoration.

I built the car for my wife and she has since bought something else and the Swinger sits in our garage looking pretty… she should really belong to someone who can love and enjoy her. I have other classics and I enjoyed the project of building her… it’s time to move on.
