Description: I’m selling my 1969 GTS Dodge Dart Swinger. FINANCING, WARRANTY AND NATIONWIDE DELIVERY AVAILABLE. This is an original, numbers matching, 2 door, yellow, black vinyl top, 340 high performance 4 bbl engine car with 80,000 miles. The car looks and runs great. You will be able to see from the pictures how nice it looks so I will focus my attention on telling you what issues there are with the car so there are no surprises. There are five issues. One is the need for a new headliner as I have poked two holes in it over the years as I vacuumed the car. The second issue is the vinyle top. The vinyl top looks great however you will see in the close up picture I provided that the seam in one short portion of the vinyl has separated. The third issue is a small bubbling of the paint in the right rear corner about the size of a dime. This is the only spot on the car that is not 100% solid. The fourth issue is paint peeling in a couple locations under the hood. The fifth and last issue is what appears to be a synchro issue. Tranny shifts great in every direction except for when downshifting into third from fourth. It catches slightly but the car can be driven as is and down shifted with little problem. I have had all five of these issues checked out with the following results. The estimate I was provided to repair the dime size paint bubble and peeling paint under the hood is $500.. When you inspect the vehicle you will see that the rest of the paint and body is just beautiful. Replacement of the vinyl top and installation of a new headliner would be approximately $1,000. I can have the tranny repaired. I am willing to sell the car as is minus the cost of repairs as noted above or I am willing to have the repairs done and the price would be $21,000.
This is one of the original, 4 speed muscle cars of the late 60’s. The engine is extremely strong and you can tell it’s the high performance (LA) engine. The 4 speed is a blast. I have the original build sheet with this car so everything can be tracked right back to the factory install. There is no AC, there is no power steering, there are no power brakes.
