Description & Pictures

This is a beautiful two door, hardtop coupe, Slant Six 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger.

225cid/110hp. It has several modern upgrades while keeping all of it’s classic style. It has been stored in a garage since it was new and includes a 6-month old $200 custom car cover.

I’ve owned the vehicle for the past 9 years and during that time I have taken excellent care of it. Taking it out monthly, taking care of routine maintenance and making plenty of upgrades throughout the years. The original owners held onto it for 42 years. It was kept in their garage and only had 66k original miles on it when the mechanic who sold it to me purchased it. He spent a year cleaning it up and giving it a new quality paint job, custom tinted windows, adding a modern stereo and subwoofer and making sure it was in good working order.

Since I purchased it in 2015, I have:

– Installed custom front bucket seats
– Replaced interior headliner/carpeting/sun visors
– Installed a custom mat for trunk
– Installed new seat belts with shoulder straps
– Added a car alarm for keyless entry
– Replaced speedometer cable
– Replaced starter
– Replaced Transmission Mount
– Rewired and replaced Engine Management Wiring Harness
– Replaced Electronic ignition control
– Replaced Power Steering Pump
– Replaced Fuel gauge
– Replaced Radiator
– Replaced countless valves, tubes, gaskets and hoses
– Installed new batteries
– Installed new tires
– Regular oil changes
– Had the exterior detailed regularly

I can provide receipts for all of the work that has been done since I’ve owned it. The body, both inside and out, is in great condition and it runs extremely well. 1972 is the last year that Dodge kept that incredible 60s profile and the amount of compliments it receives when it’s out is unbelievable. I wanted to add a few modern conveniences so it would ride like a new car, but without sacrificing any of the style it originally had. The one thing that will need to replaced in the coming years is the black vinyl top. It is the only part of the car that is showing it’s age (please see pics). It is priced to sell at $11,500 OBO. I am just outside of San Diego in Lemon Grove. I have an excellent local mechanic that knows his way around classics if you need a referral as well.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
