Another sweet barn find! Found in Spring 2018 in an old, dry dairy barn in Attica, NY. Original Virginia car. Last driven in 1981. Car has 97,892 original miles! This car was driven only 12 years! It was intended to be a drag car, but never reached that goal. Thankfully it was never hacked up. Being in dry storage, there is no rust and looks laser straight.

The prior owner smartly rebuilt another 340 block (2780930 1968-1971 340) using all other original engine components (heads, intake). I have the original #’s matching 340 block and crank. A local machine shop recently boiled and magnafluxed the block to ensure it is 100%. It also has the stock bore. I also have the original carburetor, radiator, jack, original fender tag, and build sheet (in excellent condition) :

The interior, glass and stainless are all original and in unbelievable condition for being 51 years old. The engine is fresh and runs awesome. Some new parts include: Edelbrock carburetor, distributor with Pertronix kit, lifters, push rods, cams, rocker arms, rocker arm shafts, bearings, rings, water pump, fuel pump and alternator. Also done: re-honed cylinders and professional valve job on heads. Also pertaining to driveline, both the trans and rear end were professionally checked out and given a green light!

Many new parts and here is a list of some (not already listed): All new brakes, including master cylinder, and brake lines, radiator, battery, rubber seats, vinyl top, rear bumper and bumper guards, door handles, gas tank, sending unit, fuel lines, antenna, rear white stripe, door hinge pin kit, sway bar links, windshield washer bottle and pump, taillight bezels, and complete Accurate exhaust system. I’m sure I have left some items out. Another note, we left the original paint in trunk area, and under the hood.
